Dear Parents,

Please be informed of the following:

1. Please take your child to the bathroom before entering the classroom in the mornings.
2. Review homework with your child. Homework is a review of what we do in class.
3. The children are learning the letters of the alphabet and their corresponding sounds. Please have your child practice writing the letters Aa through Dd.
4. Calendar review - The letter of this month starts with Nn, as in November, net, newspaper, nine, numbers, nuts, nurse, and necklace.
   
5. The letter of the week is Dd, as in, duck, desk, dog, dime, dolphin, dive, and door.
6. Review rote counting from 0-10, making groups from 1-10m and recognizing the numbers 0-10.
7. We are learning about rhyming words - words that sound alike at the end of the word (cat and hat).
8. We are discussing feelings and how we should deal with our feelings when we are sad, angry, and happy.
9. On Thursday, November 11th, school will be closed.
10. We need tissues, Clorox wipes, and paper towels.
11. We are planning to see the movie "Tangled." We will send permission slips home as soon as we have a date.
